Everything you need to know about SEO and how we work together to grow your business.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the practice of optimizing your website to increase its visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). It's crucial because higher visibility means more organic (free) traffic, which leads to more brand awareness, leads, and ultimately revenue.
SEO is a long-term strategy. Generally, it takes 3–6 months to start seeing significant improvements in rankings and traffic. The timeline depends on your website's current state, the competitiveness of your industry, and the resources dedicated to the campaign.
On-page SEO refers to optimizations made directly on your website (like content, meta tags, internal linking, and site speed). Off-page SEO involves actions taken outside your website to impact your rankings, primarily building high-quality backlinks from other authoritative sites.
I use a combination of industry-leading tools (Ahrefs or SEMrush) and manual SERP analysis. The process involves identifying core topics, finding related search terms, analyzing search volume and keyword difficulty, and mapping those keywords to specific user intents.
Backlinks are links from other websites pointing to yours. Search engines view them as "votes of confidence". High-quality backlinks from authoritative, relevant sites signal to Google that your content is valuable and trustworthy — a major ranking factor.
Content should be updated whenever it becomes outdated or inaccurate. For SEO, regularly refreshing old content (adding new data, expanding sections, improving readability) can provide a significant ranking boost. A good rule of thumb is to review top-performing pages every 6–12 months.
Technical SEO focuses on improving the technical aspects of a website to help search engines crawl and index it more effectively. This includes optimizing site speed, ensuring mobile-friendliness, fixing broken links, implementing structured data (schema), and optimizing site architecture.
Success is measured using key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with your business goals. Common metrics include organic traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements, conversion rates from organic search, bounce rates, and overall return on investment (ROI).
